Why charter from Fethiye?
Fethiye offers both scenery and variety of stays with its wide bay and the Ölüdeniz area. The 12 Islands and Göcek coves are a short crossing away. Easy access from town and transport links make it a practical starting point.
A yacht holiday in Fethiye
Fethiye, with its wide gulf and lively town, is a busier departure point - the choice of guests who want to pair sea days with evenings in restaurants and the old-town bazaar. Standout stops such as Ölüdeniz, Butterfly Valley and Gemiler Island are favourites of routes from Fethiye. As the gulf is more open, crossings are slightly longer than Göcek - which means different scenery.
What boats can you charter from Fethiye?
Fethiye offers every type: gulet, sailing yacht, motor yacht and catamaran. Larger families pick a gulet or catamaran, active sailors a sailing yacht, and those after speed and day escapes a motor yacht. We'll choose the right type for your group and budget together.
How are Fethiye charter prices set?
This page lists live prices; the current entry level is 750 EUR. Five factors drive the price: boat type and length, build/refit year, season (July-August peak), duration and crew size. Rough ranges: bareboat sailing yacht 2,000-3,500 EUR per week; motor yacht 1,000-1,700 EUR per day; crewed gulet 5,000-50,000 EUR per week. June and September typically run 20-30% below peak; the month selector shows each boat's seasonal price.
Day charter or weekly cruise?
Private day charter: morning departure, swimming stops around the gulf or the Ölüdeniz-Butterfly Valley line, sunset return - the boat is exclusively yours. Weekly blue cruise: Saturday to Saturday, combining Fethiye Bay with Göcek's 12 Islands. Shorter 3-4 night programmes run early and late in the season.
Crewed or bareboat?
Most guests choose crewed: routing, anchoring, weather watch and port formalities are handled by professionals; gulets and larger motor yachts always come with crew. Bareboat is available on sailing yachts and catamarans for holders of a valid ICC, RYA Day Skipper or equivalent with adequate experience. Fethiye's wide gulf is a joy under sail; a skipper can be added for the first days.

Popular routes and coves
The 12 Islands, Yassıca Islands, Bedri Rahmi Bay, Tersane Island, Boynuzbükü and Sarsala are favourite stops. Fethiye Bay and the Ölüdeniz area are reached in short hops. We suggest a route by group, duration and weather.

The season runs May to October. June and September are calmer and better value; July-August are the hottest and busiest. Booking early secures a better boat and price.
Frequently asked questions
+ - How much does a yacht charter in Fethiye cost?
Prices in this selection currently start from 750 EUR. Rough ranges: bareboat sailing yachts 2,000-3,500 EUR per week, motor yachts 1,000-1,700 EUR per day, crewed gulets 5,000-50,000 EUR per week by size. The list on this page is live.
+ - Which routes can you sail from Fethiye?
The classic day loop covers Şövalye Island, Aquarium Bay, Samanlık, Turunç Pınarı and a Kızılada sunset. The Ölüdeniz-Butterfly Valley-Gemiler Island line and the 12 Islands are short crossings away. Weekly routes take in Göcek's coves too.
+ - Can you reach Ölüdeniz by boat?
The Ölüdeniz lagoon itself is protected and closed to boats; yachts anchor off Belcekız beach so you can swim and enjoy the view. Butterfly Valley and Gemiler Island are on the same route - the most photogenic line out of Fethiye.
+ - Should I depart from Göcek or Fethiye?
Both are close to the 12 Islands. Göcek means shorter hops to the coves and a calmer scene; Fethiye means proximity to the Ölüdeniz-Butterfly Valley line, a livelier town and more accommodation. We'll recommend the best fit for your boat and travel plans.
+ - Can I charter for just one day in Fethiye?
Yes - private day charters depart from the town quay or marina in the morning; the boat is exclusively yours. Choose the classic gulf loop or the Ölüdeniz-Butterfly Valley line. We don't sell shared tours.
+ - How many guests can join?
Capacity is limited by each boat's commercial licence. Boats in our selection sleep 4-20 guests; day-trip capacity is usually higher.
+ - Do I need a licence for bareboat charter?
Yes - a valid ICC, RYA Day Skipper or an equivalent national certificate plus reasonable experience; owners usually ask for a short sailing CV. Prefer not to skipper? Choose a crewed boat or add a skipper for the first days.
+ - When should I book?
For July-August weeks, 4-8 weeks ahead; for day charters, 1-2 weeks. The November-March early-booking window offers the widest choice and best rates.
+ - What's included and excluded?
On crewed boats the yacht, crew and standard equipment are included; fuel, port/transit log, provisioning and transfers are mostly extra. On day charters, skipper and fuel are usually included. Every quote lists each item - no surprises.
+ - How do deposits and insurance work?
All commercial yachts carry mandatory insurance. Bareboat charters require a refundable security deposit; crewed and day charters usually don't. Terms are stated clearly in your contract.
+ - Is it safe with children?
Yes. Life jackets for every age are on board; for families we recommend stable catamarans and the sheltered inner-gulf routes.
+ - Can I bring my pet?
It depends on the boat. Tell us in advance and we'll shortlist pet-friendly options.
+ - How do I get to Fethiye?
Dalaman Airport (DLM) is 45-50 minutes away. We can arrange your airport-to-marina transfer; landing in the morning and sailing the same day is doable.
