Experience: crewed or bareboat?
There are two ways to charter a sailing yacht. With a valid licence (e.g. ICC) and sailing experience you can charter bareboat and take full control of the boat. Without a licence, or if you want to relax on holiday, choose crewed and take the helm whenever you wish. If unsure, you can start day one with a skipper and decide from there.
Sailing yacht or gulet?
A sailing yacht is sportier, more economical and livelier; the joy is quiet sailing with the wind and being at the helm. A gulet is wider, more comfortable and full-board, suited to larger groups. Small groups wanting to be close to the sea choose a sailing yacht; those prioritising comfort and space choose a gulet.
How to get to Göcek and Fethiye
The nearest airport is Dalaman; it is about 25-35 minutes to Göcek and 45-50 to Fethiye by road. Transfers can be arranged; we plan flight and boarding times together.
