Haul-out and travel lift: a planned lift ashore
A haul-out is the riskiest operation a boat goes through once or twice a year - and its most valuable window of opportunity: the hull below the waterline, the anodes, the shaft seal and the propeller only speak while she's in the slings. The Care team coordinates haul-out day - from the booking to the boat-stand layout, from the lift photos to the running order of the work - and combines every job that has to fit that window into one visit: you don't pay for two haul-outs.

Scope
Booking & coordination
Scheduling at the Göcek-Fethiye yards, confirming the fee and sorting the paperwork
Travel-lift attendance
Lifting points, sling position and being at the boat throughout the operation
Photographed condition check
A record of the state before and after the lift - it settles any damage dispute before it starts
Haul-out care package
Pressure wash, anode check/replacement, shaft-seal and propeller inspection
Combining jobs
Antifouling, shaft seal, seacock service - one haul-out, one plan
Launch & test
A leak check after launch and a short running test
How it works
Scheduling
The haul-out is booked from the winter months; the yard fee belongs to the facility and appears as a separate line in the quote.
Haul-out day
Attendance + a photographed condition check; while she's in the slings, the opportunity list (anodes, seal, propeller) is checked.
Works and launch
The planned jobs are completed, a leak and running test is done after launch, and the file is closed.

Example: three jobs in one haul-out
On a boat hauled out for antifouling, the in-sling check found tired anodes and a weeping shaft seal; the three jobs were combined in one haul-out - a second haul-out cost was avoided. (Real case photos will be added at launch.)
FAQ
How is the haul-out fee set?+
By boat length and by the yard; haul-out and launch are usually priced separately. The fee belongs to the yard and appears as a separate line item in our quote - we coordinate the operation and the works.
How long should the boat stay ashore?+
For antifouling alone, usually 3-7 days; for jobs like osmosis drying, weeks. The plan is written up front: every needless day ashore is a needless yard bill.
What should be checked while she's in the slings?+
Anodes, shaft seal, propeller and coupling, seacocks, transducer plugs. Skip that 10-minute opportunity list and the next chance is a year away - with us it's a standard check step.
When's the best season to haul out?+
Winter: the calendar is free, the works are done without the pressure of the season, and the boat launches ready for it. A mid-season haul-out is both costly and unplanned - not recommended except in an emergency.
Is my boat safe ashore?+
With the right boat-stand layout and the right cover, yes. That's the point of attendance: the lifting points and stand placement are checked against the boat's structure, and the condition photos go into your file.
