It depends on the boat's type, age and planned winter works: paint/osmosis jobs are done on land; a sound, well-used boat winters more economically afloat. At the introductory check we give a recommendation specific to your boat, with reasons - you see the cost of both options side by side.
How is the wintering fee determined?+
Two items, shown separately: the berth/yard fee (paid to the marina/yard; we only coordinate) and the Care winter-programme fee (checks, storm watch, reporting). Winter works, as always, come to you as a separate written quote for approval.
Do I have to see my boat over winter?+
No. Monthly photo-check reports drop into your panel; whenever you like, one tap requests a current photo, delivered within 24 hours.
What do you do in a storm?+
Your boat is prepared before the wind threshold is crossed: line reinforcement, hatch and canvas checks. Within 48 hours after the storm a check is done and a photo report sent; any findings are quoted for your approval.
Why have maintenance done in winter?+
Three reasons: craftsmen and yard slots are free in winter, works don't steal days from your season, and there's time for quality control without a delivery-deadline rush. In the winter plan, works are spread evenly across the months.
